TRANSPORT - to and around Cheddar
There's a new version of this web site! Click here to go to it now.
By CarTo plan a driving route to Cheddar, visit the AA Route Planner web site. Most people approach from Junction 22 of the M5, from where Cheddar Gorge and Caves are signposted.
best route depends on the time of day of your arrival, whether
you are travelling up from the South West or from elsewhere,
and the timing of trains between Bristol and Weston-Super-Mare
where you can pick up the 126/826. Although the 672/4 bus route
from Bristol is longer, there are more trains to Bristol Temple
Meads. Our only other bus service is the 668 which goes to Wedmore
and Street (for Clarks Village and adjacent to Glastonbury).
You may also wish to consider long distance express coach services from National Express to Wells or Weston-Super-Mare, for which prices and booking facilities can be obtained in the panel below.
