Kings of Wessex Leisure CentreThe focal point for many sports in Cheddar is the Kings of Wessex Leisure Centre, which has a pool, with racket sport courts, a sports hall, plus dance studio and gym. It also offers facilities for disabled users. Open all year.

Cheddar Football Club

Playing in the Somerset County Premier League, you can follow the team's progress, results and tables at the FA Full Time web site. Here are recent results and upcoming fixtures from the league:

   
Cheddar Cricket Club
Playing in the WEPL Somerset Division.
Cheddar Rugby Club - welcomes all children from 6 to 15. Organises the annual Cheddar Rugby Tournament for Somerset.
Cheddar Tennis Club
Plays in the North Somerset League and also has social tennis and coaching for all.

Cheddar's Library is in Union Street by the Market Cross.

Cheddar has no soft play areas, but an outdoor playground with swings and slides is available in Hannah More Park in the centre of the village.
